March 4, 2010 - PCI, Intl shipped the first armored Mercedes-Benz GL450 to Nigeria today, completing a three-month pilot program on the GL450 platform. Pictured at right is the Mercedes upon its completion in front of the armoring facilities in Union City, Indiana.

Engineers and Armor Specialists at PCI fitted the GL450 with a unique set of protective enhancmenets and armor upfits, including RFI-equipped wheels, bullet-proof glass, heavy armored body plating, and other protection measures. "It's a beautiful vehicle, uniquely designed for both comfort and protection," remarked Rob Lykins, CEO of PCI International. The GL450 will enter service this month in Nigeria.
